About the Soap MakeR
I became interested in making soap in late 1997 where I set off on an
adventure to produce my very first batch of "Honey Oatmeal"
soap. I couldn't believe I had made something with my own two hands that not only was pleasing to the senses with that golden honey smell and fresh oats, but useful too.
I never bought store soap again after that. I also knew what I wanted
to spend the rest of my life doing. Making soap and bath products for
my family and friends. I wanted to learn as much as I could on the many wonderful ways to use nature's gifts in my herbal soaps. That was
a long time ago, but I still get a rush every time I hear that familiar
"whump" noise as another block of soap is turned out onto the
counter. I love breathing in all of those wonderful scents and feeling
the scrubby textures of our bath soaps and salts. This, in a nutshell is how our
online store was born. We wanted to
introduce you to bathing products that we feel are better made and better
for you then many products you will find sitting on the shelves at your
local store. Try us and feel the difference.
